When the user (hereafter referred to as "You" and "Your") reading this policy hosted on the website snaplerts.com or any subdomain thereof, including and not limited to app.snaplerts.com, www.snaplerts.com and api.snaplerts.com (all of these domains hereafter referred to as "We", "Us", "Our", or "Snaplerts" in this policy), interacts with Snaplerts during the creation of a new account, logs into the service, uses tools provided by us, or gets in touch with us, we collect some personal details with your permission. These might include your name, email address, your profile image shared by Google with your permission and anything else that you explicitly share with us that helps us support your job hunt and provide you a better experience. We also track any activity you perform while within Snaplerts and any job posting links you click on within Snaplerts and we store this data securely unless you explicitly request us to delete it, upon which we guarantee the deletion of all your data within 30 days. Once you are considered inactive on our platform (i.e, have not made at least one payment in the past 12 months), all your data is deleted permanently without any action required by you. For details on why we collect the aforementioned data, please refer to Section 2 and Section 3 of this policy. We do not track any activity once you exit the Snaplerts website. Snaplerts does not use your personal details to collect information about you from any external party without your direct, explicit permission.

2. How We Use Your Info

We use information of your activity on Snaplerts and your personal details to make your experience smoother, smarter, and more tailored to you. That includes:

• Setting up and managing your account by linking with external authentication services (such as Google OAuth)
• Using first-party and third-party cookies to track your status on the platform (status here means whether you are logged in or not) and to manage payments handled by any third party payment provider(s). For more details on our cookie policy please refer to Section 7 of this policy
• Recommending job postings that you choose to receive via any feature on our platform that provides such functionality
• Sending regular emails to your chosen email address to notify you of job postings you have chosen to track, which can be unsubscribed from at any time.
• Sending periodic marketing or promotional emails to your chosen email address, which can be unsubscribed from at any time.
• Sending emails related to account security, updates to this policy or any other information that pertains to you urgently to your chosen email address, which cannot be unsubscribed from.
• Tracking all activity that you perform within Snaplerts to identify, troubleshoot and resolve issues, bugs and queries faced by you or other users of Snaplerts better

3. Information sharing

We may also share relevant completely anonymized data purely for internal platform analytics with trusted partners that we work with who help us deliver a better service. This data helps us identify the usage and adoption of new features, problems our users face and other such metrics that help us provide a better experience. Any data we share with the aforementioned parties is handled responsibly, anonymized and in line with GDPR and other legal guidelines. We do not share any of your data with advertisers that use your personal information and activity that you perform within Snaplerts to provide advertisements to you outside Snaplerts and we do not host targeted advertisements through the aforementioned type of advertisers on our platform. We do not, in any way, sell your personal details to external services of any kind.

Snaplerts uses a minimal set of cookies solely for essential functionality. These cookies help us manage your login session, support secure payments, and ensure a smooth user experience on the platform. Specifically, we use:

• Google OAuth Cookies: These are used during login to authenticate your identity securely via Google.
• Razorpay Cookies: These are used to securely process payments and ensure your transaction data is handled safely during payment flows.
• Snaplerts Session Cookies: These are first-party cookies used to manage your login session and remember your state (e.g., whether you're logged in or not)

We do not use cookies for advertising, tracking you across other websites, or analytics purposes. Cookies are only stored while necessary to provide essential services and are not retained beyond the life of your session unless required by payment processing or authentication workflows.
